Richmond’s Steveston Village in Photos: A Waterfront Neighbourhood Walk

Steveston Village has a way of slowing everything down—in the best possible way. It’s a waterfront neighbourhood with real character: working-harbour energy, calm streets, and that easy rhythm of people out walking, grabbing something to eat, and lingering by the water. This photo gallery is my way of capturing those everyday moments that make Steveston feel the way it does—soft light on the docks, the small details along the village streets, and the quiet spaces that you only notice when you take your time.

We’re in the area often because we have a townhouse nearby that we mostly use as a rental, and Richmond is also where we do a lot of our grocery runs. Over time, Steveston has become one of those places we naturally return to—whether it’s a walk along the waterfront, a quick meal, or just a relaxing loop through the village. It’s peaceful, welcoming, and consistently reminds us why this corner of Richmond is so loved.
